Our stories matter.

They are how we share our experiences, news, entertainment, pass on knowledge, and so much more.

We want to empower everyone to access and share their stories, ideas, and experiences. We also want to enable you to stay connected to the people and perspectives you care about.

This is why we’ve built Savv.

It is a place with the tools and experiences that make storytelling easy, accessible, and rewarding to everyone involved. Here, you can discover, read, and also write your own stories, while also staying up to date with the ideas you care deeply about.

Where it starts, publishing stories

Savv aims to create the best tools for everyone to join in and share their stories. This means crafting a seamless editing experience, one that takes care of both the little and the big stuff, so you can focus fully on telling your best story. It also means making publishing and sharing your stories easy, so your ideas can reach far and wide.

We have an in-built editor that is fast, easy to use, and powerful. The editor works on your phone, laptop, tablet, and more, so you can always write where the inspiration strikes. Your edits are also automatically saved as you go, so you can always pick up and continue at your liking.

Similarly, publishing your stories is dead simple, with options to customize the display settings on each story and also add topics to match the story to areas of interest. Once published, your story is instantly available to read.

Finding great stories to read

Beyond sharing your own stories, we also make it easy to find stories to read.

Our homepage brings you a curated selection of the best stories, which are constantly being updated as new stories stream in.

The explore page is where you will find the top stories, top reading lists, top writers, and more, allowing you to stay updated with what everyone is up to. You can also use the search to find any specific writer, story, or reading list you are interested in.

Your feed keeps you up to speed with updates from the channels you follow, so you are always up to date when a new story is published, a new reading list is created and much more. You can follow your favorite writers, topics, reading lists and series, so you always have them in your feed.

World-class reading experience

Beyond sharing and discovering stories, one of the most important things is having a great reading experience. This is why we have created a simple, clean, and focused reading interface, so you can have the most comfortable reading experience.

Further, you can adjust the color theme, font size, and spacing to make your reading even more comfortable.

From the reader, you can also share a story or save it for later in a reading list. You can also leave a ‘like’, or a ‘dislike’ to express your feelings about a story.

Building your library

Your library provides a single place to find everything you care about.

People you follow, stories you have saved, your reading lists, subscriptions and more can be quickly found in your library.

Use reading lists to save stories for later reading, and or organize stories for easier reading. Your lists can be private, so only you can access them, unlisted, allowing only those with the link to access them, or public.

Public reading lists can be viewed and followed by everyone, and are a great way to curate, discover, and share stories.

You can also follow topics, which group stories related to a specific area of interest. This keeps you in the loop whenever stories are added to these topics.

Going deeper

Your dashboard is the place to manage your stories, and get insights and analytics from your stories. Here you can see how many reads your stories are getting, how many people have read your stories, your followers, and more insights. You can also explore each story to learn more about its numbers.

Get started

Head on over to the home page, and find something great to read, or stop by the writer page to share your first story. We are also eager to hear what you say, so if you have inquiries or run into an issue, go to our contacts page and reach out.

Looking forward to a great story ahead.

I really do enjoy Kenyan films and whenever I get the chance to watch one I make a point to do so.Lately, though I've noticed that many of them have a lot in common. One theme that pops out a lot is 'crime', which means the ghetto life will play a big role in the film. Are we just not that innovative ama?
